The comprehensive utilization of landfill biogas is one of them. The landfill method to produce biogas is one of the main ways to deal with urban waste. It has the characteristics of simplicity and low cost, and it can also recover energy, which is generally welcomed by countries all over the world.

Municipal solid waste includes household, road cleaning (including garbage bin collection), commercial business waste (including vegetable waste), enterprises and institutions (including government organs, schools, hospitals), and open-air public places, as well as some industrial waste and construction waste. Therefore, in the waste put into the landfill, there are quite rich organic substances. Usually, household garbage contains potato skins, fruit skins, food residues, vegetable leaves, paper, fur and other organic substances, and courtyard garbage also contains a certain amount of organic substances.

The gas generated in the landfill site flows to a specific gas collection well by the pressure difference, and is led from the collection well to the gas collection tank through the gas collection pipe, and the gas is transported to the gas collection station from the gas collection tank. The purification treatment is carried out according to the different purposes of the exhaust gas.

The gas is collected through vertical perforated pipes set in the landfill shaft, one collection shaft is set every 40-50m, and a gas collection tank is set up every 3-5 collection wells to form a group of transportation systems, and each gas collection tank is connected to the collection station with independent pipes. The gas gathering cabinet can be interconnected to deal with faults and maintenance.
